ABOUT THE ROLE
- Management of the team:
- Planning vacations
- Defining and deploying targets for the team and individuals
- Conducting individual's performance assessment
- Lead regular 1-1 meeting
- Career planning for individuals
- Managing overtime
- Contribute to team design
- Distribute responsibilities/tasks in the team
- Delivering the business
- Contribute to the vision for the department
- Develop mid/long term strategy for the team
- Develop and complete team action plans linked with company priorities
- Lead and coach gap analysis and implement improvement plans
- Lead full PDCA cycle
- Scorecards
- Action plans/ improvements
- Gap analysis
- System/process ownership
- Grow the organization
- Assess training needs and provide relevant trainings (corporate/ functional)
- Develop individual growth plans
- Execute succession planning for the individuals
- Execute organization survey action plans
- Lead specific actions depending on organizational gap
- Drive culture in the team
- Manage the team to deliver the KPIs for the business and develop the organization.
- Supervise finished product planning in the horizon 0-18 months for Third-Party Manufacturing site(s),
- Create, contribute to and ensure compliance with the documented operating strategies
- Provide leadership for delivering supply chain results
- Provide coaching to the individuals within their organization.
- Support the business performance tracking for the category
- Ensure Fill rate results meet or exceed category targets
- Contribute to and provide leadership for inventory reduction strategies
- Provide leadership to reduce/eliminate effort touches within their organization.
- Facilitate productivity through work process changes and technology integration.
- Ensure EXO personnel is trained on Planning Operational standards, CBA's and tools.
- Role models the culture and company values
Profile and competencies:
- Bachelor or Masters in engineering, science or business management, MBA preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, with exposure to procurement operations, P2P and bidding tools, procurement excellence programs.
- Must have experience with procurement processes, systems, tools, technologies such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, Sievo, Coupa or similar sourcing, savings and carbon tools/tracking.
- Strong project management experience and ideally procurement operations management experience, systems or process transformation or skills
- Ability to develop, implement and drive sourcing performance metrics
- Proficient knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and support systems with demonstrated capabilities
- Work experience in an international environment and matrix organizations
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, BI reporting and Project management software.
- Master degree or higher (logistic, economy or production)
- Min. 2 years of experience as supply chain leader
- Practical knowledge of specific supply chain area (planning/ customer service/ artwork management)
- Ability to take ownership over given scope of responsibility
- Leadership and people management skills
